Employer Engagement Policy

This document consolidates the expectations and policies that govern employer interactions with 91视频 Worldwide, including Career Services and 91视频 Global Education Centers. Employers, staffing companies, and recruiters agree to adhere to these policies upon engaging with 91视频 students and alumni.

These policies follow U.S. standards, including:

  • Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
  • National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Principles
  • CES Honor Code

  • Employers must not discriminate in any phase of the employment process based on race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, veteran status, marital status, or ancestry.
  • Employers must provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities and avoid prohibited interview questions per equal opportunity standards.
  • While international employers may have different local norms, 91视频 holds all participating employers to U.S. nondiscrimination and ethical standards.

Employers wishing to recruit 91视频 students must offer one or more of the following types of roles:

  • Full-time or part-time roles that provide hourly wages, a salary, or a salary plus commission (commission-only roles are not permitted)
  • Piecework roles with clearly defined units of work, transparent pay-per-unit terms, and an earning structure that aligns with fair labor practices and country-specific wage expectations
  • Internships that provide professional-level experience, require ongoing supervision and feedback, and clearly state compensation (whether paid or unpaid)

Regardless of role type, the following standards apply:

  • Compensation must be communicated in writing before any training begins and before the candidate鈥檚 start date.
  • Payment should be prompt and follow a pre-established schedule.
  • Work environment should include adequate training, coaching, and performance recognition.
  • Job descriptions must be clear, accurate, and truthful.

The following types of employment are prohibited:

  • Door-to-door or seasonal sales roles
  • Commission-only roles
  • Private domestic or individual labor (e.g., babysitting, caretaking, tutoring)
  • Employment in industries contrary to CES standards (e.g., alcohol, tobacco, gambling, pornography)

Employers are expected to:

  • Pay competitive wages on a prompt and regular schedule
  • Provide career development opportunities for students
  • Advertise positions truthfully on job boards
  • Conduct fair, qualifications-based screening
  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate data
  • Provide structured feedback on hired, terminated, or rejected candidates
  • Hold regular meetings with 91视频 to share performance insights
  • Create an ethical, developmental environment with training, recognition, and support
  • Engage respectfully with 91视频 students and staff, including adherence to the employer section of the 91视频 Global Education Center Handbook when operating in Global Education Centers

Students representing 91视频 agree to:

  • Uphold integrity, professionalism, and reliability
  • Be punctual, anticipate challenges, and develop contingency plans
  • Respect confidentiality and company interests
  • Accept and offer feedback constructively
  • Be coachable, teachable, and supportive of peers
  • Act as brand ambassadors for 91视频 through high performance
  • Mentor other students and contribute to a positive employment culture

91视频 Career Services commits to:

  • Connect employers with qualified candidates
  • Ensure no obligation to retain underperforming students
  • Support students with ongoing career coaching
  • Collect and relay feedback from students on employer experiences
  • Meet employer talent needs with responsiveness and adaptability

Advertising & In-Country Events

  • Meetinghouses of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Church meetings and classes, and Church websites and social media channels may not be used to promote any business or non-Church entity.
  • 91视频 Global Education Center use must comply with the employer section of the 91视频 Global Education Center Handbook.
  • Employers must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and visa requirements related to their in-country visit, including immigration and employment laws. Employers are responsible for financing and funding their visit.

Recruitment Conduct

  • High-pressure sales tactics or manipulative offer deadlines are strictly prohibited.
  • Employers must communicate job expectations, including pay, prior to start.
  • Students must be permitted to attend religious worship weekly.

Staffing Companies

  • Must meet all employer standards
  • Preferred vendors must:
    • Employ 50+ 91视频 students/alumni
    • Provide monthly workforce updates
    • Not publicly claim partnership status with 91视频

To protect the integrity and neutrality of 91视频 Worldwide and its affiliated services, the following policies apply to all employers, staffing companies, recruiters, and affiliated vendors:

  • No Claim of Partnership: Employers, staffing agencies, or vendors may not represent themselves 鈥 publicly or privately 鈥 as 鈥減artners鈥 of 91视频. This language is prohibited in marketing materials, conversations with students, or internal communications. 91视频 also will not refer to any employer or staffing company as a partner.
  • Use of 91视频 Name or Branding:
    • The 91视频 name, logo, and brand identity may not be used in any employer materials, including job postings, promotional graphics, social media, advertisements, or signage without explicit, written permission from 91视频 Worldwide.
    • Any prior authorization may be revoked at any time at 91视频鈥檚 sole discretion.
    • This restriction applies to any co-branding with 91视频 Global Education Centers or Career Services.
  • Misrepresentation: Employers must not imply endorsement by 91视频 in written, verbal, or implied ways. 91视频's role is to facilitate connections, not to validate or guarantee employment quality or outcomes.
